Previously: Uriel lunged, fangs bared, at Orev.
Zoom on Orev and Uriel. Orev has swung an arm around Uriel and leaned back slightly, and is gesturing with his other arm, not looking threatened in the least. Uriel scowls.
Orev: Spare me the drama, Uriel. So you're unhappy about your compensation. This isn't a pro-bono job. He's prepared to pay you quite handsomely.
Orev: Not as handsome as me, of course.
Close zoom on the now very confused lizard being pulled from the rocks once more. This time it grips the rocks for dear life.
Close zoom; Orev sets the lizard on his shoulder.
Close zoom; Orev pulls the scroll out of a sleeve again.
Cut back to a shot of Orev, lizard on shoulder, speaking with Orev. Orev smiles.
Orev: But well, and in blood.
Uriel is still scowling, but raises an eyebrow.
Uriel: ...what are the terms?
Zoom on Orev, holding the scroll up in front of him and tapping it with one finger.
Orev: It's all in here. But I'll give you the executive summary:
Zoom out so that all we see are the desert dunes and the pyramids off in the distance. Dialogue continues from offscreen, downwards.
Orev: When we give the signal, you and your squadron take as many people as you like. Special dispensation from the rules, for the duration of that night.
Uriel: I meant the terms of the job, not the payment.
Orev: That *is* the job.
Uriel: That's all?
Orev: That's all.
